Ecru silk ottoman and embroidered net day dress, c. 1912. Dress is decorated with embroidered and tucked net, faux lame button medallions, and knotted decorative faux lacing running over over box and knife pleated insets at each side of skirt. Sleeves are embroidered net with tucked and tiered details, ending in silk ottman cuffs. A silk taffeta cumberbund decorates the waist, and leads to a sash with tassles at the back of the waist. Hook and eye clasps at reverse.
