Gray wool crepe dress, c.1925, with a drop waist. Inset faux dickie panel of a lightweight, two-toned sheer silk crepe de chine at the center front of dress. Diamante 'buttons' decorate the center of the faux dickie, and lead to a tarnished gothic buckle. The buckle can be undone, but doesn't actually hold the attached waistband as a belt, and leads to a double box kick pleat at center front of dress. Small bows with diamante accents at each of the modified bishop sleeve cuffs.
