There may have been quite a bit of lounging and lazing about over the recent holiday weekend, but none quite as in style as the girl in this photo!
There's not much dress detective-ing going on here, as the snapshot is much too small, but I think it's from the 1950s. The lounger is wearing a pair of skinny capris-type pants, much like the iconic ones Audrey Hepburn wore, and is either barefoot or wearing a pair of moccasins or something similar. A belted tunic style shirt with wide contrasting lapels and cuffs completes the look, and a bucket hat is added for good measure - you have to keep that complexion looking perfect somehow!
