Drawers

White cotton drawers with open work, lace, embroidery, and hand sewn darts at the waist.  Two shell buttons at the waist band.  Open work channel for ribbons just above the knee, but ribbon is missing.  Lace at the hem, with embroidery at front of knees and back.  Initials just above the left proper knee: RTB (with the T being the larger letter and identifying the owner's surname initial).

Drawers such as this were in fashion betwen 1895 and 1899.
