Handmade red cotton work/house dress with shell buttons running down front. Slant side pockets at waist. Collar and horizontal lapel detail at neckline. Princess seams. Dress falls to just below the knee - resembling closer to wartime fashions than the flowy mid-calf feminine dresses seen earlier in the decade.
